Good to Know

• Photo ID required; names and ages must match booking and ticket type.
• Timed entry; late arrival may be refused with no refund.
• Skip-the-line bypasses ticket lines only; all visitors pass security.
• Dress code enforced; shoulders and knees covered.
• No animals. No cloakroom; bring small bags only.
• Strollers must be left under the Basilica portico.
• Children under 6: audio receivers not allowed.
• Basilica (if included): Wednesday mornings and all tours after 3:00 PM follow a self-guided Basilica visit (no guide inside).
• Dome Elevator (if included): Elevator to rooftop terrace only, with interior view from above.
• Dome Climb (if included): 320 steps, narrow spirals; not recommended for under 6, pregnant women, reduced mobility, or heart/respiratory issues, vertigo, claustrophobia, or low fitness.
• Closures: Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica, or Museums sections may close or restrict without notice; itinerary adjusts and no refunds apply.

Meeting Point

Meet us at the Crown Tours Office on Via Mocenigo, 15, located approximately 2 minutes away from the Vatican Museums. Head down the stairs that are located across the street from the large white marble Vatican Museum exit. Take the first left onto Via Sebastiano Veniero, keep walking straight until the end of the street, and then turn right; you will find yourself on Via Mocenigo. You will find the purple "Crown Tours" flags outside our office.
